Alex Lopez, Vice President, Business Development 

Alex Lopez is vice president (VP) of business development (BD) at ECS. In this role, Mrs. Lopez manages the company’s BD, capture, and proposal operation teams as they work to accelerate the company’s growth. 

Previously, Mrs. Lopez served as VP of capture at ECS where she oversaw the company’s capture teams and helped ECS expand the company’s existing partnerships across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Justice (DoJ), and other public sector clients.  

Ms. Lopez has more than fifteen years of experience across the BD lifecycle including extensive capture and proposal operations. She is a results-oriented leader who is passionate about building relationships, coaching, and mentorship. She is also an active member and volunteer in the federal/government contracting community.  At ECS, she leads several training and mentoring programs which help develop the next generation of BD leaders. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Duquesne University.
