The fully managed solution delivered automated compliance, configuration, deployment, version control, and network controls while significantly improving the speed and consistency of the website user experience.

CHALLENGE
Leverage the AWS platform to provide a powerful geographic information system (GIS) composed of both open source and commercial GIS server and client tools and available on demand as a fully managed platform.
DEVOPS SOLUTION
ECS leveraged native AWS DevOps services to automate the provisioning of GIS-based infrastructure to achieve near-zero downtime. DevOps strategy for the environment included DevOps templates for deploying GIS platform for new customers; automated security compliance monitoring and logging, and a backup framework to meet all SLAs for recovery and availability.
