Employee feedback earns the company’s eighth Top Workplaces recognition from The Washington Post

FAIRFAX, Va. ― June 24, 2025 ― ECS, a provider of advanced technology solutions in data and AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation, and an ASGN (NYSE: ASGN) brand, has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area.

Top Workplaces selection was based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey that measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. This year’s honorees include technology companies, real estate firms, and financial service providers.

At ECS, we do work that serves our nation and the world.

JOHN HENEGHAN

President of ECS

“Being recognized as a Top Workplace for the eighth time is truly an honor,” said John Heneghan, president of ECS. “ECS continues to invest in its people, helping our professionals grow their skills to reach their full potential. Our team’s drive and commitment to excellence continue to position ECS as a great place to work.”

Training and continued education are a cornerstone of the ECS employee experience. At the heart of this advanced training are ECS Centers of Excellence, hubs of technical expertise, knowledge, and support that drive the company’s data and AI, cybersecurity, and other advanced technology solutions forward. Beyond these Centers of Excellence, ECS employees have access to a vast library of online IT training programs and can leverage annual reimbursement benefits to pursue undergraduate and graduate degree courses, professional and technical programs, and job-related certifications.

ECS’ well-rounded employee experience in and out of the office is a key factor in securing such high marks from its employees year after year. The annual ECS Pitch Day, for example, gives employees the unique opportunity to present new product and service ideas, for a chance to bring their innovations to life and ultimately enhance the breadth of solutions capabilities ECS offers its defense, intelligence, and national security client base. ECS also fosters a collaborative, innovative culture through numerous employee resource groups and a company philanthropy program that enables professionals to nominate charitable causes for quarterly fundraising drives.

The Washington Post hosted a Top Workplaces awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 18 to honor ECS and its fellow top-ranked companies. For more about The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces and to see the full list of this year’s honorees, visit https://topworkplaces.com/award/washington/.
