Donnie Scott is the president of ECS, the $1.2B government segment of ASGN Incorporated (NYSE: ASGN). Mr. Scott oversees the business’s strategic direction and performance. Partnering with the executive leadership team, he drives initiatives that strengthen growth, diversify the company’s solution offerings, and deliver advanced AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation capabilities to government customers.
Mr. Scott has extensive experience leading and scaling technology organizations in highly regulated and mission-driven environments. Prior to assuming his current role in February 2026, he served as chief executive officer of IDEMIA Public Security North America and oversaw global strategy for the group division. Under his leadership, the organization strengthened its position as a global provider of identity and security solutions, expanded its international footprint including standing up key shared services functions to drive growth, and enhanced operational performance and customer satisfaction. Across multiple periods of organizational change, Mr. Scott consistently prioritized a positive corporate culture that sustained low attrition and high employee engagement. He also successfully unified multiple legacy business units into a cohesive operating organization serving government and commercial clients.
Before joining IDEMIA, Mr. Scott held senior leadership roles in the technology and security sectors, including industry sales leadership at DXC Technology and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Electronic Data Systems. Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing secure, mission-critical technologies that support national security and public safety priorities.
An active member of the professional community, Mr. Scott served as Treasurer of the International Biometrics Industry Association and on the CEO Roundtable for the U.S. Travel Association during his time at IDEMIA. He is a frequent speaker on leadership, corporate culture, national security, homeland security, and emerging technologies. Mr. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia (UVA) and was a proud punter on the UVA football team.
