As vice president of platform solutions for Defense and Intel, Chris O’Connor oversees the Secure Unclassified Network (SUNet) team. Under his leadership, the SUNet team delivers mission-critical cloud platform services to multiple customers. He also oversees the Mission Partner Solutions team and its focus on partner country data sharing efforts with U.S. defense and intelligence agencies.

Mr. O’Connor joined ECS in 2021 as a retired U.S. Army colonel after more than 27 years of active-duty service. During his career he served both stateside and abroad, including in Germany, Kuwait, and combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. O’Connor holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, as well as a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a master’s degree in military national resource strategy and policy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
