FAIRFAX, Va. – March 7, 2019 – ECS is pleased to announce George Wilson has won his second consecutive Wash100 award by Executive Mosaic, an international leadership organization and media company. Executive Mosaic recognized Wilson for “leading the company to expand its workforce, secure major contracts and grow the company exponentially.” The award was presented February 27, 2019 by Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic.
The Wash100 award honors influential executives in government contracting (GovCon). Recipients are selected by the Executive Mosaic organization, in combination with web nominations from the GovCon community. To qualify, nominees must demonstrate “superior leadership, innovation, reliability, achievement, and vision,” according to Executive Mosaic.
“I am honored to be named among the other winners of this prestigious award,” Wilson said. “To be recognized along with such high caliber leaders is something I am grateful for. I deeply appreciate those who viewed me as deserving the award, as well as the ECS family of experts who make our company the exemplary organization it is.”
Under Wilson’s five years of leadership, ECS has grown from a small, services-oriented business into a mid-size company providing cloud, cybersecurity, digital modernization, science, and engineering solutions.
