As vice president of growth in our Defense and Intel business unit, Luis “CC” Colon-Castro leads our executives, account managers, program managers, and consultants responsible for strategy and growth related to ECS’ Defense and Intel customers. Mr. Colon-Castro brings more than 20 years of sales management, service delivery, and growth-focused experience to his ECS role. He is intimately familiar with the DoD acquisitions system, having managed ACAT-designated programs throughout their lifecycle and milestone attainment, with outstanding delivery and results.

Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Colon-Castro was a program director of mission systems at InfoReliance Corporation, responsible for P&L and growth of a large and diverse portfolio of DoD and federal civilian IT programs. He was also a vice president, account manager, and strategic business engineer at CGI Federal, where he managed the information technology manpower and personnel accounts serving the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and supported strategic corporate pursuits across the defense sector.

A retired Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 4, Mr. Colon-Castro served 21 years in the USMC in recruiting, sales, planning, strategy, and management roles, blending experience in systems engineering and software development. He became a subject matter expert in the human resources development process across the enterprise, from recruiting to separations/retirement.

Mr. Colon-Castro has a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from American Military University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University. He holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Marine Corps Association Foundation.
