Giles Kesteloot is the chief strategy officer (CSO) of ECS. He is responsible for developing and executing ECS’ corporate business strategy and driving the company’s continued growth across federal and commercial markets. Previously, Mr. Kesteloot served as senior vice president of Homeland Security Solutions sector at ECS. Under his leadership, his team succeeded in winning 16 of the 17 proposals put forth to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), delivering $267 million in new strategic contracts for ECS.
Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Kesteloot was the president of Blackstone Federal, which was acquired by ECS in 2020. In his five years as president, he set Blackstone Federal’s strategic vision and transformed the company’s business operations, culture, brand, and sales strategy, creating a highly profitable, reputable, and successful business. His consistent delivery of innovative cybersecurity, cloud computing, agile transformation, enterprise architecture, and data analytics solutions resulted in a 400 percent increase of topline revenue with a compounding annual growth rate of 38 percent net profit.
Mr. Kesteloot brings more than two decades of experience delivering technology solutions to commercial and federal partners. He is passionate about building high performing businesses, bridging the gap between the Beltway and Silicon Valley to create companies unlike any in DC. In his spare time, Mr. Kesteloot is an avid musician and bass fisherman. He has a degree in business management from University of Mary Washington.
